It was a first time visit for The Red Stripe Band and they gave the club a fabulous night of their own brand of jazz , blues and all round great music. They did remind me of a cross between The Jools Holland Band and the style of The Blues Brothers. Sadly I could only stay for the first two sets but they gave a fabulous performance of some classic songs and they entertained the members making everyone feel very very welcome and played their hearts out , for some maybe not a pure Trad band but I for one enjoyed the music and vibe they gave out.
